Abstract |
Background. Many experts, representatives of international organizations and the scientific community consider renewable energy sources to be the key to solving global problems, catalyzing the transition to sustainable human development. The purpose of the study is to analyze the process of formation and popularization of “green” energy, to assess its current state, prospects and significance both for national economies and for the world economy. Materials and methods. To achieve the purpose of the study, based on the analysis of thematic literature and monitoring of thematic Internet resources using statistical and graphical data, the experience of various states in the development of “green” energy is compared, its role in the system of the world economy is indicated. Results. Quantitative data characterizing the degree of development of “green” energy at national levels are gi-ven, cause-and-effect relationships are carried out, conclusions about the current state and prospects of renewable energy are formulated. Conclusions. According to the results of the study, a conclusion is made about the active development and popularization of “green” energy in different regions. At the same time, the problems associated with the development of renewable energy, the ambiguity of its consequences for the national and world economy are identified. |
